We can also help you to find skilled employees at Uvision Recruitment. This division provides quality employment solutions to both qualified candidates and employers.

The following sections outline specific visa services we offer:

For Temporary Visas

  • We retain records for all your temporary employees (on 457 work permits) and we advise you of the records you must keep, in order to meet your obligations as a sponsor.
  • We can provide reports of your employees in regards to types of visas, visa expiry dates and contracts.
  • If a temporary employee leaves your company, we can assist you in fulfilling your obligations.

For Permanent visas

  • We assist companies by managing and supporting both your HR staff and your employees by preparing the entire application in the employer-based sponsorship categories.
  • The application requires documentation from both the employer and the employee, to establish and satisfy a range of criteria.
  • We provide comprehensive checklists, information sheets and prepared forms to both the company and the employee.
  • We gather all the information and prepare the forms and your submission for lodgment.

We assess your proposed temporary residents against the current temporary and permanent criteria and advise your company of any changes so that you can plan ahead. We also assess and assist with the full range of non-corporate permanent residence applications for employees in situations where this would be appropriate for the employer client.

Visas Categories

There are several visa options that may allow your business to sponsor overseas workers. Some of these options include:

  • Temporary Business Sponsorship (457 visas)

The Business - Long Stay (457) visa allows businesses based either in Australia or overseas to sponsor workers for a temporary visa for up to 4 years. There is a list of eligible occupations for 457 visas, and a Threshold Salary Level applies. For more information on Temporary Business Sponsorships, click here.

  • Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)

The Employer Nomination Scheme is a permanent visa, and requires the nominating employer to be operating in Australia.  The employee needs to show a higher level of skill than that required for a 457 visa: English tests, more stringent health testing and an occupational assessment may apply. For more information on Employer Nomination Scheme, click here.

  • Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)

The RSMS visa requires a job offer in a regional area. The position needs to be approved by a Regional Certifying Body, but otherwise the skill level criteria are lower than for an ENS visa. The resulting RSMS visa is a permanent visa, but is subject to cancellation if the employee leaves employment within 2 years of obtaining the visa.  For more information on Regional Sponsored Skilled Migration Scheme visas, click here.

Uvision Australia can also assist your business in the following migration tasks:

  • SBS: All companies whether based in Australia or overseas must become an Australian sponsor, otherwise known as a Standard Business Sponsor (SBS), in order to bring or maintain their staff in Australia for temporary work.

  • Nominations Application: This application is for the employer who is seeking to nominate a foreign skilled worker to fill a skilled vacancy in their business, they must make an application for a position within the employer’s business to the Department of Immigration.

  • Visa Application: This application is for the person/employee applying for their visa in reference to the Nomination Application lodged by the employer.

  • The short term Business Visitor is a visa commonly used by Australian companies. Although this visa is simple, it can also be a complex process to obtain it. We can advise, prepare and apply for this visa application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).

  • Most of your 457 visa holders will, at some point, enquire as to possibility of bringing their relations to Australia either permanently or for a visit. We assist with and assess these different visa types to support your staff.
